Preston 27 June2023(TIE)Three young people have been captured on video running from the scene of where a 14-year-old boy died after being found injured on a road in Melbourne’s northwest.
The footage, obtained by the Herald Sun, captures the three individuals running near Ginifer Station in St Albans at 10.47pm.
The trio appear to be looking back and shouting as they run, dressed in hoodies and dark clothing.
Two officers were captured searching the area with flash lights minutes later at 11.11pm.
Police are continuing their investigation into the exact circumstances of the incident in which a boy from Braybrook was found on Bailey St, St Albans, by emergency services just after 11pm Monday.
Homicide squad detectives are investigating the teen’s death following reports a group of people, who appeared to be armed with knives was spotted near the scene before the incident.
The teen died on the way to hospital.
