Victoria 23 June 2022(TIE)As nuclear tensions near a breaking point, Russian President Vladimir Putin has delivered a terrifying threat to the West, pledging to deploy the Sarmat hypersonic missile known as “Satan 2” before the end of the year.
The declaration is the most recent in a string of threats that Mr. Putin has issued to the West in reaction to the West’s continued severe sanctions against Russia over its invasion of Ukraine.

Mr. Putin declared on Monday that Russia is getting ready to use its lethal “Prometheus” hypersonic nuclear system.

With its 15 warheads and nearly 18,000 km in range, the deadly Satan 2 nuclear missile has the power to obliterate an area the size of the United Kingdom in a single attack.

The successful test-firing of the new missile earlier this week was hailed by Mr. Putin as “a great, significant event” for Russia’s defence sector.

The Russian leader claimed that the rocket could defeat all current antimissile systems.

“This is unique and won’t be for a very long time anywhere in the world.”

In reference to all of the former USSR lands, which he referred to as “traditional Russia,” he claimed he wouldn’t hesitate to expand the Ukrainian war to nations who resist Russia.

Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan were all formed as a result of the Soviet Union’s dissolution between 1990 and 1991.

Additionally, he declared that any nations who sided with Moscow would no longer “be allies” with Moscow.
