Six police officers have been rushed to the health centres and greater than 200 humans arrested throughout a violent anti-lockdown protest in Melbourne’s CBD.
According to Chief Health Officer more than 4000 people have defied the instructions to rally towards Victoria’s lockdown and more difficult restrictions.
The places have become out of control as the police clashed with protesters, with officers firing pellets at the crowd.
Many anti-social elements who were protesters have been additionally doused with pepper spray as police tried to calm the ferocious behaviour.
