Owners of the popular Grand Cherokee family SUV and Chrysler 300 sedans have been hit with bad news as Jeep issued a safety recall for over 43,000 vehicles due to a manufacturing issue that may cause a loss of power while driving. Unfortunately, Jeep Australia currently does not have the spare parts necessary to immediately address the issue.

The recall affects vehicles manufactured between 2011 and 2022, and there have been no reported incidents in Australia. The issue involves a failure in the fuel pump, which could result in debris entering the fuel system and cutting off the fuel supply to the engine, leading to a loss of power while driving.
This presents an increased risk of serious injury or death to the driver, vehicle occupants, and other road users. Unfortunately, Jeep Australia does not have spare parts to fix the issue immediately, which is bad news for affected owners.
