Police lay charges after aggravated burglary in Black Rock

Victoria, 27 June . Moorabbin Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged two teenagers following an aggravated burglary in Black Rock this morning.

It is alleged the 16-year-old and 18-year-old attended an address in Seaview Crescent around 1am and entered the property through a rear door.

The pair allegedly stole a handbag, a phone, cash, and a set of keys, along with a 2013 Mercedes-Benz B-Class sedan.

The pair were arrested with the assistance of Air Wing and a police dog.

The 18-year-old Shepparton male has been charged with aggravated burglary, theft of motor vehicle, theft and commit indictable offence whilst on bail.

He has been bailed to appear in Moorabbin Magistrates’ Court on 4 October.

A 16-year-old Carrum Downs boy has been charged with aggravated burglary, theft of motor vehicle, theft and commit indictable offence whilst on bail.

He remains in hospital and will be summonsed to appear in a children’s court at a later date.
